catch up day hey hey

UP IN THE AIR | 2009 | Jason Reitman

Yeup pretty damn good actually.  From son of Ivan, this Clooney outing shows him doing his Clooney thing (to which I admit I am partial).  I haven’t seen JUNO or THANK YOU FOR SMOKING, Reitman Jr.s last outings, but I’ve been told this new film pales in comparison to those.

But I’ll retort that UITA has a great script - something written by an adult, for adults.  This is a rare thing, especially from American films.  I also thought the performances were excellent —- Clooney delievers his smooth Clooney-charm yet again and indeed the young Anna Kendrick will be someone to watch.  Though perusing her imdb page shows appearances in the Twilight poo series, so maybe not.

And the aerial photography was incredible — the title design, excellent.
