Currently, I think editing on a micro-level has never been better, and editing on a macro-level has never been worse. I leave it to you to decide why this is.

KILL BILL VOL.1 - Tarantino - 2003

Yeup watched this on my new fancy HD monitor and even the SD DVD looked freakin awesome.  I think this movie is going to hold up for many years to come.  On this viewing - my seventh? - I was most enthralled by two non-action-scene related ECU shots of a mosquito on Uma Thurman’s arm just before she bursts awake from her coma.  Amazing.
